After 'Dancing With the Stars' pro Kym Johnson was rushed to the hospital Friday, there were fears that she might not be able to continue in the competition. However, after being released from the hospital over the weekend, Johnson's confirmed that she has been given the all-clear by her doctors.
The dancer turned to Twitter to give concerned fans updates on her condition: "I'm feeling better today" and "Thank you everyone for your concern, love and support," she Tweeted. "I'm a little shaken up, sore but I will be fine."
Johnson injured her neck on Friday while practicing with her 'DWTS' partner, Hines Ward. After tests, she was cleared for release and left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center wearing a neck brace.
She said she feels "so incredibly blessed and lucky not to be injured worse and to have the most caring sweet partner in Hines."
Her injury comes at a critical time for the duo, who have performed consistently well all season. Tonight they head into the semi-finals, where they'll square off against Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff and Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas for a place in the Season 12 Finale and a chance to take home the coveted mirrorball trophy.
'Dancing With the Stars' airs Mondays, 8PM ET and Tuesdays, 9PM ET on ABC.
