We wouldn't advise betting the house based on Jackson's response. "I think it's going to either be a boy or a girl," he said. The three remaining contestants are Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart.

James Durbin was the last singer voted off the show, much to the surprise of Jackson and many who follow the show. "We've had such a diverse season and I think the coolest season ever, and him being this metal kind of rocker kid, we thought maybe he could go all the way," he said. "But you know, you never know. America, what's going on?"


Jackson also said he'd give fellow judge Jennifer Lopez a 7 out of 10 for singing ability, which Jackson thought was quite an accolade, considering his "10s" would be Frank Sinatra and Whitney Houston.
