Jon Stewart described the discovery of a stash of pornography in Osama Bin Laden's compound as a gift for 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central). His staff was giddy with excitement, writing jokes and making graphics for their planned coverage.

But first there was the matter of how NBC News broke the story. "NBC News can now confirm that a stash of pornography was found inside the terror leader's lair," Martin Bashir said.

It was the "can now confirm" part Stewart took issue with. "There was some talk in our morning editorial meeting as to whether or not it could be classified as erotica," Stewart mocked. "And then we saw a picture of a woman ******* a horse. So, we believe this be straight-up porn."

Certainly, it's an amusing end-note for the nearly ten-year search and struggle to find the al-Quaeda leader. Somehow, picturing this mastermind of evil hunkered in his bunker rifling through pornography takes away a lot of the intimidation, replacing it with derision and amusement.
