When Chaz Bono was a little girl, he didn't have fantasies of trying on mom Cher's wardrobe, nor did he dress as a typical girl throughout his youth, he said on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

Perhaps as a sign of his gender reassignment to come, Bono said he had no interest in his mother's fashion. In fact, he was more drawn to what his father wore. "If anything, I was trying on my dad's wardrobe," he said.

Bono recalled his mother once trying to force him to dress as a girl, but this was short-lived. After a particularly awkward day at school in a denim skirt, Bono said he swore off women's clothes forever. "I don't remember exactly raising hell when I got home," he said. "But, I must have because that went out the window and that was actually the last dress that I wore."
