It's been a busy week in TV land, so it may not surprise you to learn that we recorded two, count 'em, two Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan podcasts on Tuesday.

In the first one, Ryan McGee and I take on the season finales for 'Chuck' (which I wrote about here), 'How I Met Your Mother' and 'The Good Wife' (which I wrote about here). We also discussed the series finale of 'Smallville.'

In the second podcast, we discussed some good and bad trends emerging from Upfronts Week, which is when the broadcast networks announce what they'll be airing in the fall and offer clips from many of their new shows.

I don't have running times for you, but I can say that in the finales podcast, we talk about 'Smallville' first, followed by 'The Good Wife,' 'HIMYM' and 'Chuck.' There also aren't running times for the Upfronts podcast, given that it's a freeform discussions of the kinds of shows we'll be seeing next fall.

By the way, I guested recently on Lou Sytsma's ODONTV podcast, and we had fun talking about everything from 'Justified' to 'Supernatural' to 'Chuck' and 'Breaking Bad,' 'Mad Men,' 'Farscape,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Fringe' and Stephen King's 'The Dark Tower' book series.
