Jon Stewart Can't Resist Making Fun of the Schwarzenegger Scandal (VIDEO)
If you believe Jon Stewart for a second when he says he's unhappy about the Arnold Schwarzenegger scandal breaking, you are out of your mind. Sure, those were his words on 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central), but he also admitted it's a comedic goldmine. He said he was glad the news of recent weeks was behind us so the show could get back to its core mission: "Discussing the important issues of the day." But then he cut immediately to a news clip breaking the story that Schwarzenegger admitted to fathering a child with a member of his household staff more than a decade ago.
"Damn you, nearly irresistable comic possibilities," he lamented. "Funny accent. Built-in movie poster fun."
As is tradition on 'The Daily Show,' a parade of fake movie posters followed, parodying Schwarzenegger's movie past. "Some of his movie titles we wouldn't even have to change," Stewart said putting up 'True Lies.'
Stewart may pretend he's not happy about this turn of events, but 'The Daily Show' hasn't had this much great material to riff off of in a long time. And we don't think they'll let it go anytime soon either ... unless another bombshell is waiting in the wings.
