James Durbin Has No Regrets Over 'American Idol' OusterLast week on 'American Idol,' James Durbin was eliminated from the singing competition, much to the surprise of his many fans. On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' (weekdays, syndicated), Ellen DeGeneres seemed just as shocked, but Durbin himself was philosophical about his ouster.

"I was heartbroken that you were sent home," said DeGeneres. "I don't understand it. Early on, I picked you to win the whole thing. So, I was wrong about that, but I think you're amazing."

Durbin seemed to have no regrets over finishing in fourth place, however. "I feel really good," he said. "You know, at this point, I think no other number would have been better for me than number four ... You know, I get to be here ... I've gotten to do all these amazing things in the past couple of days."

Ellen love to see you do something on the homeless singer that I keep hearing about Dred Scott, and amazing story that a preacher is promoting him!!! I saw a video of him!! Wow an awesome dude with talent.

JAMES, YOU MADE IT WORTHWHILE TO RUSH HOME FROM WORK, GET DINNER READY AND SIT DOWN IN FRONT OF A TV SET AND BE "BLOWN AWAY" BY YOUR NEXT PERFORMANCE!! YOU ARE SUCH A SPECIAL YOUNG MAN, YOU PUT EVERYTHING YOU HAD, INTO EVERY ONE OF YOUR PERFORMANCES!!! YOUR TALENT IS NOT, JUST THAT "YOU CAN SING" BUT, YOU ACTUALLY "ARE AN ENTERTAINER"!!!
