Newly-eliminated 'Dancing With the Stars' couple Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff appeared on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated). And, Macchio seemed a bit irked by his elimination on Tuesday night's show, arguing that he and Smirnoff had already earned themselves a place in the finale.

"We felt we earned the right to get into the finals," Macchio complained. "So, it's tough."

Even Macchio's children were upset over his dismissal, he said. But, his time on the show at least earned him a reputation as a cool Dad for short time. "They're a little frustrated right now," he said of his kids. "They're proud, though. Dad was pretty cool for a couple of months."
