by Chris Harnick, posted May 19th 2011 9:15AM
Sarah Michelle Gellar, RingerWelcome back to TV, Sarah Michelle Gellar!

The 'Buffy' veteran's new series, 'Ringer' has landed on Tuesdays at 9PM following '90210,' which has moved to Tuesdays at 8PM. Coincidentally -- or maybe not such a coincidence -- 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' aired on Tuesdays.

Mondays will be a Josh Schwartz block, with Rachel Bilson in 'Hart of Dixie' at 9PM following 'Gossip Girl' at 8PM.

Similarly, Thursdays are a Kevin Williamson block: 'The Vampire Diaries' at 8PM and 'Secret Circle' at 9PM.

Meanwhile, new reality series 'H8R' starts Wednesdays off at 8PM with 'Top Model' at 9PM. 'Nikita' moves to Fridays at 8PM with 'Supernatural' at 9PM.

'One Tree Hill' will return midseason -- for a final season -- along with reality shows 'The Frame' and 'Re-Modeled.'

"We're thrilled to present the most exciting primetime schedule The CW has ever had, comprised of shows that feature bold concepts, proven TV stars and up-and-coming, breakout talent," Dawn Ostroff, the outgoing CW president, said in a statement. "In just five years, we've built an instantly recognizable brand that resonates with both viewers and advertisers and is known for being smartly provocative, culturally current, emotionally authentic and a leader in digital and social media. This upcoming season will continue to establish The CW as a premier destination for our viewers, especially women."

I won't be watching anything on the cw (crap-warner) network since I'm male and they only want females watching. I gave them a chance until they cancelled Reaper which was actually out-performing several of their crappy shows. If they ever decide to get rid of their man-hater executives over there they can start going after the full demographics and not only half. Dawn Ostroff is an idiot and if the new programmer in charge thinks like her then they're an idiot too along with whoever hired them plus whoever hired them and so on and so on. My money is on Nina Tassler being the big idiot that hired all those other idiots at the cw. Until Nina is gone the cw is never going to have a top 50 show because 50% of the demo won't be watching and the cw doesn't want them watching. What a bunch of idiots!

I'm sad that Nikita has moved to Fridays this early, but hopefully this can only be a good thing. It has boded well for SPN when it got moved, so I'm hopeful. I would LOVED a pairing of Ringer/Nikita. 90210 can't beat Glee or NCIS at the 8pm time slot. Ringer would have a better chance there at 8, followed by Nikita at 9.
