'The Biggest Loser: Couples' Season Finale: And the Winner Is ... (VIDEO)

'The Biggest Loser: Couples' finaleAlison Sweeney started the night by reminding us that this has been the longest season of 'The Biggest Loser: Couples' (Tue., 8PM ET on NBC) so far. After 20 weeks of competition on the Ranch, it came down to a pair of sisters at the top of the heap, a father who was eliminated and earned his way back into the competition, and a young woman who lost her mother in the first week.

SPOILER ALERT!!

While sisters Hannah and Olivia were locks for competing for the $250,000 prize, Jay and Irene had their fates handed to them by America's vote. So they came out at the top of the hour and both looked absolutely fantastic -- though Irene should be careful about doing high kicks in a dress when coming through a paper picture of herself.

When the votes were tallied, they established a new 'Biggest Loser' first. For the first time, all three finalists were women as Irene took the vote and sent Jay to compete in the "At-Home" prize. But, as it started and as it ended on the Ranch, it ultimately came down to the sisters.

With Hannah standing by Alison's side as the current leader and Olivia on the scale, one of them would be crowned the winner of 'The Biggest Loser: Couples 4.'

Hannah had dropped 120 lbs, or 48.39 percent of her total body weight. In order to beat her, Olivia needed to lose more than 126 lbs. She lost 129. At 49.43 percent Hannah lost nearly half her body weight, saw her husband slim down as well at home and now they have $250,000 to catapult them into the next chapter of their lives.


And possibly the only person there happier than Olivia and her husband was her sister Hannah. If you've got to lose a game like this, it has to make it a lot easier to swallow if you lose to your big sister.

i liked hannah sorry she didnt win but really going to miss jillian she made biggest loser her and bob rules

i felt bad for irene they down played her and favorite the sisters so like any other show i knew they would win.so didn't watch didn't care.the sisters whined every week same thing annoying to me.how better people next year.

This show is totally unhealthy and irresponsible. That amount of weight loss in that time frame, regardless of method, has the same negative health effects as anorexia. This includes the weakening of the heart walls which could lead to death.

No, this is all excerise and eating healthy foods and if this method has the same time frame as anorexia then it sure is fast and healthier. Anorexia is more relative to starving oneself and eating much more smaller meals and having riduculous diets. The biggest loser only gets the people into shape and having them learn to adapt to healthier life styles. lol. Just saying. They're not going on super diets. They're eating healthy and right.

After the weight loss what do they do with the flab??????? Use the money for the follow up surgeries???? Yet my hat goes off for ALL the contestants. The endurance they displaced showed up in the end. And thanks heaven this show was clean with no jalousy spats and scheming plots of the contestans. Good job trainers and contestants alike.

I was so happy for the the sisters! I'm really gonna miss them, lol. They looked fantastic, with both of them making such a drastic change! Good for them!! And what a sweet relationship the two of them have. May God bless them both in their new lives!

From the picture, I'm not sure which sister won the prize, but the one in the orange colored top certainly maintained her nice full rack which is usually the first thing to go in a diet... Congratulations to both and I certainly hope they manage to maintain their pretty figures and a healthy lifestyle in the years to come...
