Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy seemed to have developed the closest relationship of any of the celebrity/dancer couples on 'Dancing With the Stars' this season, and it showed today on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated). They appeared on the show along with Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, the other runners-up from Tuesday's results show.

Even though Alley and Chmerkovskiy lost the Mirrorball Trophy to Hines Ward, Chmerkovskiy said he was happy with how they finished. Alley, not so much. "I think you're an idiot," she said as Chmerkovskiy rolled his eyes. "When you don't get it ... I realize that it's just a Mirrorball, but I was devastated."

Ballas has already won two, one fewer than Derek Hough, who is Regis Philbin's partner of choice, should he ever get on the show.
