George Lucas: I Have 50 Hours of 'Star Wars' TV Series Planned

George LucasA live-action 'Star War's TV show? Yes, it's been talked about before, but George Lucas has been mum on details ... until now.

According to the New York Post, Lucas has 50 hours of a 'Star Wars' TV series planned. That's at least two seasons.

What's the hold up? Technology. Lucas reportedly told G4 that he's waiting for "a different type of technology we can use so it's economically feasible to shoot the shows."

Lucas said the financial difference between producing movies and TV shows is too vast right now.

The series will take place between 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' and 'A New Hope.'

Meanwhile, 'Star Wars: Clone Wars,' the animated Cartoon Network series, is still alive and kicking. Its fourth season debuts this fall.

Tell us: Do you want to see a live-action 'Star Wars' series?

George Lucas has been dead since 1986. Don't listen to the ravings of this clown. he is obviously just a clone.
my proof is the 2nd craptastic star wars trilogy. who would have thought it. George Lucas hero to zero.
I expect nothing from this guy. George Lucas is dead to me.

I sure wouldn't want to watch if Pucas was writing them. He seems to have less of a handle on his own property than most of the fan base. His ideas are goooooooooooooodBAD. In that he comes up with a good idea and then somehow throws in somethng that makes it lousy Also, he's a lousy director.

Planned. Meaning its in his head. Its Lucas, meaning he's thought about it for five minutes and decided he'd rather ask his kids.
