If Pamela didn't have a garage before she came on 'The Price Is Right' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), she certainly needs one now. The contestant won her first round playing "One Away," earning her first car, a Honda Accord LXS. By the time she got to the Showcase Showdown, she had a good feel for the price of vehicles, and was able to make a close bid.Pamela's showcase was a trip to New York, several watches, and a Ford Mustang (red, like the car she had won earlier). She was going up against a woman whose showcase consisted of a rope hammock, a barbecue island, and a Caribbean cruise for four.
When host Drew Carey read the results, Pamela's competitor was almost $4,000 off the mark in her guess, while Pamela was just under $600. She wound up with $52,091 worth of prizes, including two shiny new cars.
