Piper Perabo Admits to Lying in Auditions on 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

Piper Perabo, 'Chelsea Lately'The lesson we learned from Piper Perabo on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!) was that everyone lies in auditions. So we're headed to Hollywood where we're gonna lie and say we can act!

The 'Covert Affairs' star admitted to lying in the audition for her very first acting gig on 'Coyote Ugly.' She told them she could play guitar.

When asked how she got away with it, she said, "I just kept pretending to forget my guitar." Eventually, after she got the part it was too late and they "just got a guitar teacher."

Or, if you believe what she said later in the interview, she spent six weeks after that audition learning to play the guitar. Which one is it, Piper? Teacher on the set, or six weeks of learning on your own? What else are you lying about? Were you even in 'Coyote Ugly'?

Strange! It appears that people in the Hollywood biz are allowed to lie, steal, drive drunk or under the influence just because they are so-called celebs that are better than the rest of us. Piper Perabo's face gives her away as a big-mouthed liar who has no acting ability! I believe that she is probably only good at one thing...giving BJs with that mouth!

She must have been doing a lot of work at the time, because based on release dates of the movies, Coyote Ugly wasn't her first release. She had two movies released prior to that. Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle came out 6/30/2000 and Whiteboys came out 9/10/99. Never heard of the 2nd, but I own the first. Coyote Ugly, which I also own, did not come out until 8/4/2000. It could still have been her first acting gig, but that would mean the filming and editing process took longer than Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, which was live action AND animation.
