'MTV Movie Awards': Robert Pattinson Drops F-Bomb Honoring Reese Witherspoon (VIDEO)
The censors were kept pretty busy during the '2011 MTV Movie Awards' (Sun., 9PM ET on MTV), but apparently Robert Pattinson was too fast for them. In presenting the MTV Generation Award to Reese Witherspoon, Pattinson revealed that his teleprompter said for him to ad-lib, so he awkwardly worked from hand-written notes. Then, he tried to tell a joke relating to the fact that he played Reese Witherspoon's child in a movie seven years ago, and has now gone on to share a love scene with her. "I did f*** you," he said, and the censor was asleep at the wheel, letting the f-bomb fly across the airwaves.
When Witherspoon came up to accept the award, she smoothly saved Pattinson's disastrous speech. "The punchline to your joke is that I played your mother and then we had a sex scene so really you're the best motherf***** in Hollywood. Okay?"
That's how a real Hollywood pro does it. And the censors got her f-bomb as well. So all in all, a more professional moment for Ms. Witherspoon.
