Brittany Snow, Aml Ameen Exit 'Harry's Law,' Chloe Sevigny Books Transgender Role and More Casting News

Brittany Snow, Aml AmeenWhen 'Harry's Law' returns to NBC for a second season (yep, that's happening), it'll be missing two of its young stars.

According to TVLine, Brittany Snow and Aml Ameen have left the show as series regulars in what is reported as a "mutual decision." The two may guest star during the second season.

'Harry's Law' stars Kathy Bates as Harriet "Harry" Korn, a patent legal eagle turned defense attorney. The dramedy comes from David E. Kelley, so you know there's a quirk: Harry operates out of an old shoe store.

'American Dreams' veteran Snow played Jenna, Harry's secretary. Ameen, known for the UK series 'The Bill,' played Malcolm, a client-turned-paralegal.

In other casting news ...

• Buzz Aldrin and Stephen Hawking will lend their voices to 'Futurama.' Patton Oswalt and Dan Castellaneta will also voice characters on the new season on Comedy Central. [Comedy Central]

• David Mazouz will star opposite Kiefer Sutherland in 'Touch.' The Fox pilot, which will debut at midseason, stars Sutherland and Mazouz as father and son. Mazouz's character is believed to be able to predict future events. [Deadline]

• Chloe Sevigny had found her post-'Big Love' role: 'Hit and Miss,' a new UK drama. Sevigny will play Mia, a transgender contract killer who learns she fathered several children while living life as a man. The six-episode drama comes from 'Shameless' creator Paul Abbott. [Deadline]

YIKES..... Snow is gone....and so am I.. ....even though the development of her character was pretty shallow......she was always someone to look at..........
Hope she moves to Showtime...

I'm sorry Snow and Ameen are no longer with the cast. But I'm greatly pleased to hear the show is returning. I LOVE "Harry's Law"!

Sorry to hear of their leaving, i remember Miss Snow during her role on the soap G. L. I knew then as i know now that she will go far in her life as she is a real DOWN TO EARTH actress , i wish them all well in whatever they do .. thank you Mrs Lindalee Tupper AGE 63, OF Chico, Ca.

I think it's a shame. they provided a nice balance to the show. hope it isn't because there was unfavorable mail re: black & white getting together.

I enjoyed Harry's Law, but will wait until I see what replaces Ameen. I may have to look elsewhere for my entertainment.

Why don't they put that show out of it's "Misery" along with Bates. It is a terrible program.
