Christina Hendricks: No One Is Leaving 'Mad Men' (VIDEO)

Christina Hendricks on 'The View' Christina Hendricks cleared up a few questions about the future of 'Mad Men' Wednesday on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). The cast will stay intact for season five, she said, which will come as a relief to the show's legions of fans who may be worried about contract disputes and delays in shooting. They will still get their show, but it will starting later than usual.

"The writers are back right now, no one is leaving the show," said Hendricks. "The actors go back in a month. I don't know the exact time that we'll get back on air. It'll be a little bit later than we normally are, but not too much." Previous reports have pegged the show's return around January of 2012, and also speculated that minor characters might have to be cut due to financial constraints.

Hendricks also talked about her character Joan's signature strut, which she said was born of "trying to walk across the room in a tight dress." Sherri Shepherd then told Hendricks that the 'View' ladies love her curves because she looks like a real woman, unlike so many of the pencil-thin actresses in Hollywood these days.

AMC will be smart to go to whatever expense necessary to rebroadcast, if not the entire series, at least season 4 this Fall just like they've been re-running Breaking Bad. A long hiatus evidently turns off some previously loyal fans
