jon's audence is made up of younger people who believe his show contains real news. in 20 years, they may figure out they are being led down the garden path. 50 years of entitlements have made things worse, not better. vote all the congress out. let's start over with one new ammendment. congress and federal employees get the same plans we do. that includes ssi, medicare, health care, and etc. they must follow the same laws we do. if not they go to jail, where probably 20% of them should be now!

The reason I don't like Steward is the same as to why I dislke Rush Limbaugh. They are both bullies who make fun (even down to the way people look and speak). The only difference is Steward is a bully for the left and Limbeaug is a assclown for the right. And don't tell me that Steward makes fun of everyone. Yes, 2% of his jokes are at democratic expence, but, they are mostly like Limbaughs jokes at the right, about how cowardly they are and how they should plow everybody who doesn't aggree with them under. Frankly, I won't think either are down the middle till they attack Beck and Reid with equal venom.

iF more people were as funny as John, would be such a great place to live. He softens the tone on some pretty horrifying situations, and makes me realize not to take things so seriously.
