Ann Curry Horrified By Old Footage From Her First Day on 'Today' in 1997 (VIDEO)

Ann Curry already had to sit through a retrospective of her work Thursday morning on 'Today,' but 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) had another one for her later in the day. Curry talked about how her job, and hairstyle, have changed since her earliest days on 'Today.' She's got a bigger dressing room and better hairstyle now, but has to wake up earlier to prepare for the big-time interviews that happen during 'Today's' first hour.'Access' showed a clip from her first say on the job at 'Today,' March 11, 1997, and zeroed in on the hair. "Please tell me I look better than that now," Curry pleaded. She had been nervous that first day, she said. "I was so scared, I felt like that guy on 'Broadcast News,' I mean with the dripping of the sweat," referring to Albert Brooks, who played a news writer plagued with horrible flop sweat in the 80's film.
Billy Bush then dared Curry to wear her hair Friday the same way she had in 1997. Don't look for it to happen, although Curry did say that style was "bumpin'" at that point. If that hair-do was bumpin' then, we'll say she looks pretty fly now.
