A victory dance on 'The Price Is Right'Grant did not win a car in his Showcase Showdown on 'The Price Is Right' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) Thursday. But that's okay, since he had already won a Chrysler 200 LX earlier in the show by guessing the price within $2,000 in Card Game. What he did win in his showcase was a bunch of stuff for his garden, a trip to visit mud baths in Calistoga, California and four off-road motorbikes.

Grant's opponent, Grenz, was bidding on a showcase that included a watch, maid service, massage service, and a trip to London. Grant got the dirty showcase while Grenz got the clean one. Grant bid $21,000 on his showcase and Grenz bid $23,000.

Grenz overbid by $5,000, and Grant wound up with $43,802 worth of prizes. Judging by the flood of people in matching t-shirts that rushed the stage when Drew Carey announced the winner and Grant did his victory dance, Grant's friends are going to have to take turns riding the vehicles.

No one can win any merchandise prize in the Showcase Showdown. The only thing that can be won in the Showcase Showdown is cash. The person or people that have been writing the TPIR articles recently need to learn this. Contestants reach the Showcases round by winning a Showcase Showdown.

One other thing. Get rid of those stupid ads on the entire sides of the screen. Grey space? No, it's a link to an ipod app that i don't care about. I'm sick of declining access to itunes. This site has started to become annoying since it's no longer tvsquad.

So you cancelled the posting that tells us "What's On TV Tonight", and instead we get a daily column on what contestants have won on TPIR?

And you really don't see anything wrong with that or why the readers are complaining?

What is next, a daily breakdown of JEOPARDY scores?
