'Friends With Benefits' Gets Premiere Date, Danny Glover Joins 'Touch' & More TV News

Friends With BenefitsAfter being shelved for many months, NBC's 'Friends With Benefits' finally has a premiere date.

The rom-com series starring Danneel Ackles, Ryan Hansen and more (not to be confused with the Justin Timberlake/Mila Kunis movie opening later this month, which is not to be confused with the Ashton Kutcher/Natalie Portman movie from earlier this year) will debut on the network June 25.

According to Deadline, NBC will air back-to-back episodes on Saturday nights from 8-9PM. Ouch.

In other TV news ...

Danny Glover has signed on to play a professor in the Kiefer Sutherland Fox pilot 'Touch.' Glover's character deals especially with children gifted at numbers. [TVLine]

William Shatner's '$#*!' might have been canceled, but he's already got another gig. The actor will guest star on an episode of 'Psych' as Juliet's father. [TV Guide]

The Cedric the Entertainer-hosted 'It's Worth What?' will debut Tue., July 12 on NBC. 'It's Worth What?' has an 'Antiques Roadshow'-meets-'The Price Is Right' vibe, as two contestants try to guess the value of "exotic valuables from around the globe" as they compete for up to $1 million. [NBC]

Kelly Lynch, Seymor Cassel and Danny Houston are heading back in time as a part of Starz's drama 'Magic City.' The 1950s-set series stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a secretive hotel owner in Miami. [Deadline]

'Lost' vet Mark Pellegrino will get his lawyer on in an episode of 'The Closer.' He'll defend Brenda when the family of a gang member sues her. [TV Guide]

Bravo's Andy Cohen and E!'s Giuliana Rancic will co-host the Miss USA pageant on NBC next weekend. The competition will air live on June 19. [NBC]
