I've watched Jon Stewart since late 1999 and he's always been the one to endlessly go after the Republicans. While, at the same time, he'll timidly go after Democrats when he gets the green light from whoever (his writers, the network, the DNC?)

He's nothing but a partisan who treads lightly when it comes to Democrats who are actually in power and f***ing this country up as much as (if not more than) the Republicans. But nope, the brunt of their criticisms thinly disguised as jokes are saved for a powerless moron from Alaska. The DNC is afraid of her for some reason and Jon Stewart, in return, does the dirtier work for the DNC in trying to ruin her image as SNL has done too.

Thank the Lord for Jon, how else could we all laugh so much. Of course, it's not his fault that he has such models as Sarah to draw from.

It is not surprising that Jon avoids "vetting" and questioning the eligibility of Obama, but will spend hours on dead comedic issues as Sarah Palin and what she says, does, wears, speaks to and other mundane things. I just watched him in the fiasco and didn't laugh once. It just wasn't there, Jon. Try another source like Weiner; now there's a laugh a minute.
