'Real Housewives of Miami' Returning For a Season 2?

Real Housewives of MiamiDespite low ratings, could Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of Miami' be returning for a second season?

According to the Miami Herald, Bravo is looking to recast some of the women. A source told the publication Bravo has changed producers and casting agents and is now in the interview process for building a Season 2 cast.

The original women are being considered, but considering how lackluster the first season was, it's a safe bet to assume if the show returns, not all the Season 1 women will.

Casting shakeups aren't uncommon for the popular reality franchise. Vicki Gunvalson is the only original cast member of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County.' Dina Manzo and Danielle Staub left 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' and Bethenny Frankel left 'New York City.' All shows have added new women.

If 'Miami' is canceled, it will join 'The Real Housewives of DC' in 'Housewives' heaven. 'DC' is the only show in the popular franchise to get canned.

As usual, Bravo was mum on confirming or denying the reports. "We haven't made any announcements regarding a second season," Kristen Andersen, Bravo's senior press manager, told the Miami Herald.

The shows are great. Now you need Chicago. But it is got to be more diverse. I cannot believe you could not find a hispanic or black person on the other shows just ATL. That is not cool. America is made up of all kinds of people. Hispanic and Black have $$$ to.

i agree with you 100% and even on atl they still had to put a white housewife -_- smh it just suck.

I love them all
DC sshould have had more of a mixture. DC is not all white,even though I heard the city make- up had changed. But I did like the show. Without NeNe the ATL would just be plain boring. Only Kandi really has some $$. NEnE got some. But Shere she wants to have money,but she does not. But I love all the shows. Now you need chicago. But its got to be diverse.

atlanta, (except for nene) take her kim hating behind off the show. She is hater and ugly and classless. Look at her on the apprentice. Her 15 mintues are over. She actually owes us. nj and bh are the best!! the oc is ok, miami sucks those women are so fake and not interesting all its like they knew they were being filmed and they went overboard!!!who acts like that!! miami housewives are classless. Except Alexia. My paryers are with her son.

I say bring them back on, the show was not even given a chance! Leave out Cristy, Larsa and Adriana! Love Marisol and her mom and Alexia!

I say keep Mama Elsa and get rid of everyone else.
To be honest, the show wasn't that bad. I think if they keep Lea, Cristy, and Larsa, and added three other women, then the show would be fine.
But, if we got rid of Marysol then there would be no more Mama Elsa. Dilemnas!
