The last episode of 'Countdown with Keith Olbermann,' aired on January 21, 2011. Olbermann's departure from MSNBC ended, perhaps temporarily, his long-running battle with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly. With Olbermann returning to TV on June 20 on Curent TV, he stopped by 'The Colbert Report' (weeknights, 11:30pm ET on Comedy Central), where Stephen Colbert asked if losing that battle hurt.

"Has it been painful in these last 145 days to live with the knowledge that Bill O'Reilly won?" asked Colbert. "He jacked you so hard you landed in Current TV." Olbermann laughed it off and said that O'Reilly was responsible "for my promotion and my raise."

Colbert didn't let him off the hook. "You're back, you're coming back," he said. "You're the comeback kid. But that implies you lost. Are you man enough to say O'Reilly won?" Olbermann laughed again and said no, of course he wasn't, again insisting he now has a better job.
