Something I don't understand? Last season L;iz worked with Troy and they hunted Liz's daddys old spot,but this year she is hunting daddys spot but it's 80 miles away.I find it hard to believe that they run that far last year to daddys spot.Love the show and know this really how they make a living but I would like the producers to keep it real

to the ones who are against hunting if it wasnt for the hunters of the world you would not have any wildlife to look at. So the next time your snuggled up to a tree at the park watching the birds and deer you can thank a hunter for that. Why did they have to kill this gator? What a bunch of a-holes. How was he harming them? I thought it was against the law the kill alligators. I don't like anything reptilian, but I wouldn't go around killing them. I don't believe in killing animals.

This video really made me angry.

Personally I think the show is sick, and I'm a country boy through and through. Some people call sitting in a heated deer stand hunting...it's not. Some people call baiting bears hunting..it's not.. Riding in a boat and shooting a gator in the head is not hunting. This show doesn't show real life situations. It's like watching Hollywood martial arts compared to the real thing... big difference. Hunting has it's place if it's done with respect and with certain "ethics". Unfortunately most of todays hunters have very little of either. Modern technology and many "creature comforts" has taken the sport out of hunting...it's taken the "man" out of it. I'm not bashing all hunters, just the bad ones....you know who you are.

They do it because it's their job, their living. It wouldn't be economicably viable if you city people didn't demand the end results of their labor!

there are no happy endings in nature, life is not a disney movie. when a animal starves to death, gets slowly eaten alive by another animal, or rots away with disease it is much more gruesome than a clean kill by a honorable hunter. i understand if hunting is not for some people, and they are free to allow others to provide their food for them, but please respect others rights to hunt for themselves or their families. and i dont want to hear vegaterian crap since the process of plant life breathing in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen is their definition of life killing plants is no better and much more detrimental to to earths eco system than harvesting gators out of the swamp. and to those who talk about " a fair fight" try hunting anythin once. its a thousand times harder than the average person thinks. take away all these animals hightened senses, natural defenses, familiar enviroment, and centuries of evolution and adaptation beyond us talking monkeys and maybe it would be a fair fight. till the ill take a honest weapon, tons of skill, a clean shot, and a thankful prayer any day.

I thoroughly enjoy this show, it's pretty interesting and really cool to see how these folks make their living. . . most of 'em at least have a high school education and all you people out there pissing and moaning about the gator need to know, there are strict regulations for the size and weight of a gator being trapped and how many each hunter can take and they use all of the gator just like the native americans did! I personally admire these folks and their commitment to home and family and tradition and sure they don't seem to be wanting for anything or coveting the latest gadgets or gizmos if only the rest of us could be so satisfied w/our station in life!

I love the show Swamp people its real life down to earth people making a living hunting alligators Great Show. We need more programminglike this to show how real people live and work ..Hell I'de join them if I was young and healthey again Great show..

I think anyone that think's hunting &fishing is'nt necessaty let go hungry! everyone hunts somewhere in the store . swamp wood's my case up on the mountians
