Teresa Guidice may still see her brother Joe's wife Melissa as a gold digger on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo), but that doesn't mean she won't try and mend fences with her. Not for Melissa's sake, but so she and Joe can get back on better terms.

She opened this week's episode by having a sit-down lunch with Joe where she tried to get past the enormous emotional walls he put up. She found a crack in his defenses when she asked him if he wanted to have regrets should their ailing father not pull through.

"Call my wife and you work it out with your mother and my wife, because you're the one that's involved," Joe told Teresa. As determined as she is to mend this relationship, Teresa set out to do just that.

Of course, that's how the episode ended, with Teresa and Melissa sitting down finally and starting to talk things through. Will it work? Can Teresa mend her relationship with Joe? Can she be civil to Melissa, and vice-versa?
