Fernanda Confronts Alexis About Gay Marriage on 'Real Housewives' Reunion (VIDEO)

'The Real Housewives of Orange County'Apparently Alexis is in a bit of a moral quandary. Earlier in the season on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Mon., 9PM ET on Bravo), she made some pretty harsh statements about Fernanda's lesbian relationship.

"I don't think Fernanda and Marian's marriage is a real marriage, and unfortunately they'll have to talk to God when they get to the Heaven's gates," she said in a confessional. And, of course, Andy Cohen trotted out the footage at the reunion special.

"I felt very, very, very hurt," Fernanda said of Alexis's words.


To her credit, Alexis owned up to what she said. "That statement came across so hurtful and I just have to own it and I just have to say your relationship with Miriam is no lesser of a relationship than what my relationship is with Jim."

However, when pressed on her stance about gay marriage, Alexis kept resorting to the phrase, "I'm for what the Bible says." After pressing, she finally confirmed that this means marriage is a union only between a man and a woman.

So basically, Alexis is willing to acknowlege the validity of Fernanda's relationship as something akin to the one she shares with her husband, but she cannot religiously or morally accept a same sex couple getting married. This is a fairly common stance, we would speculate, for many Americans.

I've lost any bit of respect I had left for Alexis.
She seriusly makes Christian's just look stupid.
For one thing - she's already had a divorce, and she obviously hates the body that GOD has given to her, which is why she had lip implants and boob implants.

But - she obviously isn't firm on her stance for what she believes in. She says "I support what the Bible says." Yet she didn't have the BALLS to say "The Bible says marriage is between a man and a woman, so I don't support the notion of gay marriage." No, she let Fernanda's "feelings" get in the way of her so called "Christian faith."

God, she's an idiot.

Every time Alexis opens her mouth she confirms her trophy wife status. She needs to take a good look in the mirror and see what a sham her own marriage is in the sight of God before she throws stones at anyone Else's.

Creat Bobby Drew God made man and woman not woman and woman, nor man and man. If he intended same sex
he would have made man and man or woman and woman. Same sex couples are accepted because people have gotten away from the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, THE BIBLE, in this day and age anything goes regardless if it is wrong. Same sex is going against the grain of nature, plain and simple. And that is very, very
wrong plain and simple.

Alexis has to be the biggest idiot I have ever heard from. She has no thoughts and opinions of her own, they are either what the bible or her husband says, which to her are one in the same. She talks about God and religion, however she and her husband are a disgrace and phony. Good Christians don't pull a fraud on lender's, just because they are upside down on their home mortgage. Her marriage is to a control freak, and she lacks any self confidence to change it, or move on. I predict she is in store for a rude awakening. She seems to be in competition with Peggy and Micah, which she and Jim are not in the same league with in any capacity.

Micah and Peggy are both in financial ruins, I wouldn't want to site with either of these couples on who has more virtues than the other, neither couples are any better. Peggy and Micah right now are battling with several bank institutions so that their properties will not be foreclosed upon- Alexis is a no brain-er, she does NOT have a single thought of her own, she does not desire to have a self opinion of herself or anything if Jim is not involved. That there makes Alexis a truly sad women and most importantly, a sad mother who is raising children and teaching them NOT TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES but to be sheep of the masses. One day Alexis will come to her senses and discover that Jim does NOT have her total best interest at heart and when that day comes, Alexis will be shocked beyond recognition! Mark my words! Reality is reality, no amount of expensive cars, homes and jewels should ever fool you into believing that all is wonderful when in reality, life in front of you is falling apart in rapid speed. SELF MERIT counts a heck a lot more than what these fake women and husbands portray.
