It's a busy week in TV (for a rundown of what's returning, debuting or wrapping up this week, check out this list), hence two Talking TV podcasts. In the first one, Ryan McGee and I discuss the season finale of HBO's 'Game of Thrones' (which I wrote about here) and the season finale of AMC's 'The Killing' (my take on that is here) with our special guest, Tom Fitzgerald from the very enjoyable TomandLorenzo.com site, which publishes commentary on television, fashion and pop culture.
In the second podcast, Ryan and I discuss the returning comedy 'Louie,' which we like a lot, and 'Wilfred,' a new comedy starring Elijah Wood. I'll publish reviews of those FX shows, which arrive Thursday, in the next day or two.
Running times for the podcasts are below.
In the first podcast, Tom, Ryan and I talk about 'The Killing' for about the first 31 minutes, then we gab about 'Game of Thrones' for the rest. There are a few issues with Tom's audio in the first part of the podcast, but please be patient, they get better.
In the second podcast, we talk about 'Louie' until minute 14, then we talk about 'Wilfred' for the remainder of the time.
As always, you can grab the podcast from iTunes (where you can also subscribe) or you can get both of this week's podcasts from the Talking TV home site.
Full archives of every 'Talking TV' podcast are available here. The entire 'Talking TV' archives are also available on iTunes. Our RSS feed is here.
