Often on 'The Price Is Right' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), there is a big showcase and a somewhat smaller showcase on the Showcase Showdown. Thursday, it was two big showcases, and neither contestant came within $9,000 of the actual values of their respective prize packages.Tatia passed on a "Swimmer's Bliss" package, which included a swim spa, a trip to the Wisconsin Dells water park, and a sport boat. Drew made what seemed like a reasonable bid of $24,500. Tatia's package looked like the "big" one. It included four iPads, a Lincoln MKS SUV, trips to Zion National Park in Utah and Key West, Fla., and $3,000 in cash. Tatia bid $45,000.
In reality, the two showcases were roughly $3,000 apart. Drew's package was valued at $51,114, leaving him under by more than half of its value, which made host Drew Carey say "Wow." Tatia's package was valued at $54,413, leaving her $9,413, which wouldn't be good enough for the win most days. That brought Tatia to $57,412 in prizes for the day. As Carey said, "A good haul for one day's work. Not bad."
