Alicia Keys sounded an optimistic note Tuesday morning on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC). Keys has every reason to be feeling good: she just released a reissue of her debut album, 'Songs In A Minor,' to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Keys is happily married, the mother of an 8-month-old son, and she's spreading her wings as a producer on Broadway with a play called 'Stick Fly.''GMA' host Robin Roberts asked Keys if all of that makes it into the music somehow. "That's what also the tenth anniversary is about, you know, the future," she said. "It's about celebrating where I've come from so we can really continue to go on into the future. Because it's going to be an incredible future."
Keys also performed her love letter to her home town, 'Empire State of Mind (Part II),' as the cabs and people passed behind her in Times Square. It made a perfect setting for a song about the city.
