Linda Hogan's divorce from wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan was a long, public battle that began in 2007 when she filed and ended in 2009 with a settlement. In her new book, 'Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes,' Linda Hogan reveals just how ugly the marriage was. Tuesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), Linda Hogan detailed some of her accusations against Hulk, saying that she feared for her life and didn't want to become "another Nicole Simpson."

Matt Lauer read an excerpt from the book in which Linda Hogan described her former husband's episodes of violent rage. "To this day he's never apologized for any of his actions," Hogan said. "But that is something that scared me. I did not want to be a statistic like Nicole Simpson."


Hogan said she never contacted the police because she feared the repercussions it might have on Hulk's career, and by extension, her children's financial well-being. "It's a very scary position," she said. "You don't know how far they're going to go. One fight can escalate."
