Tuesday's season finale of '16 and Pregnant' (Tuesdays, 10pm on MTV) took a look back at some of the young girls and their families from season three, including an emotional interview with Kayla and her mother. Kayla said her mother neglected her, paying more attention to her boyfriend and ignoring her during her time of need.

"There was a point where she moved away from all of us kids, and that was hard," said Kayla. "It was so easy for her to pick up and leave." Kayla also said her mother left her in the apartment with no heat while she spent the night with her boyfriend, telling Kayla to get a hotel.

"I think that once Kayla got pregnant I kind of looked at her as grown-up," her mom said. "She just grew up really fast. And I think there was just a lot that I saw that I thought she could do on her own."

Kayla's mother admitted she may have paid more attention to her boyfriend than her daughter, and apologized on camera after Dr. Drew Pinsky asked her if she had told her daughter she was sorry. "I am," Kayla's mother said. "I'm sorry."
