'Pretty Little Liars' Touching Moment Alert: Emily and Her Mom Have a Heart-to-Heart (VIDEO)

'Pretty Little Liars' (Tuesdays, 8PM, ABC Family) might be a frothy, fun summer show, but don't discredit the ABC Family series. It also tackles real topics in a sensitive way -- none more touching than Emily's coming out story.

The teen struggled with her sexuality before coming out to her mom and tough military dad last season, and things didn't go as perfectly as you'd expect from a guilty pleasure show. Emily's mom in particular had a hard time coming to terms with her daughter being gay, but has since come around.

Tuesday's episode featured a touching scene between the two women, with Emily's mom telling her daughter that she knew how difficult it was to come out to her, and how she loves her no matter what.
