Rosie Perez Was Sexually Harassed While Working at a Record Label (VIDEO)

Rosie Perez, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'When Craig Ferguson said that Rosie Perez was "just the right guest" for 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) when they were talking about sexual harassment, we're pretty sure he was simply referring to how beautiful she is.

What he may not have expected was for Perez to open up and talk about a truly bizarre sexual harassment experience she had back when she was in college.

This was after she'd moved from New York to California. We learn this because, according to Perez, "in New York the sexual harrassment is nice."

This experience wasn't nice. It must have gone beyond awkward and uncomfortable to intimidating and frightening. It was when she was working at a record label. The assistant manager offered to give her a ride home, and then asked if he could use the bathroom in her apartment.

"I walk out of the kitchen and ... he was laying -- I swear to God this is true -- butt-naked stroking his ****," she said. What on earth do you do in that moment? She did say she got a raise the next day, but we doubt it covered the emotional trauma she experienced.

Big deal. Guys I know have had the same thing happen to them with a female boss. And they didn't get a raise. Men rarely benefit from these kinds of things.

She didn't turn down the raise, did she?

And she didn't say that she called the police and had the guy arrested, did she?

Just why did this guy offer her a ride home out of the blue? And how do you let ANYONE into your apartment to use the bathroom that you barely know?

She's lucky the guy wasn't a serial rapist or worse.

It never ceases to amaze me how these "stars" have such traumatic experiences that they did nothing about at the time.
