'Harry Potter' Cast Says Goodbye at London World Premiere (VIDEO)
With Thursday's premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' in London, the cast that has been together for a decade said goodbye to a franchise that made them stars and brought to life J.K. Rowling's novels. 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM on CBS) showed us madness from the red carpet as thousands of fans clogged Trafalgar Square and the stars of the series marveled at the experience."This is a fitting send off," said Daniel Radcliffe, also known as Harry Potter. "It feels right. It feels like we're doing justice to what is not just a fantastic film but a fantastic series." Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, said she felt like she was having an "out-of-body experience," that it was overwhelming but a "beautiful moment."
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, said it had been an important part of his life. "To have it just suddenly end is quite a weird feeling," he said. A weird feeling for him, for the thousands of people trying to get a glimpse of the stars in London, and for the millions of fans worldwide. 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' opens in the U.S. on Friday, July 15.
