Miranda Lambert Announces New Solo Album on 'Good Morning America' (VIDEO)

Miranda Lambert performs with Pisol Annies on 'Good Morning America'It's been almost three years since Miranda Lambert released her last album, 'Revolution.' The musical drought is about to end for Lambert's fans. Friday on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC), she announced that her new album, 'Four The Record,' will hit shelves on November first, and performed with her new group, Pistol Annies, which also has a new album coming out August 23.

In the tradition of The Ramones and the Traveling Wilburys, each member of the Pistol Annies is an "Annie" - Ashley Monroe is "Hippie Annie," Angaleena Presley is "Holler Annie," and Lambert is "Lone Star Annie." "We all write songs together," said Lambert, "and we all have separate styles artistically on our own, but together we just make up this, this chick group that sings about what most girls want to say but don't, you know."

The Annies performed a twangy, sultry version of their debut single, 'Hell On Heels,' the title track from the forthcoming album.

She is smart, talented, and for a change not some whiny anorexic. Nothing wrong with a little junk in the trunk. In case you haven't noticed, female country singers know it's all about THE MUSIC. I know it stings but she couldn't care less what you or I think about her body...keep dishing it out though if it makes you feel better about yourselves.

Love Miranda Lambert! So cool of her to help promote her friends w/ this band. All are great singer songwriters and they have an awesome sound. I think it is pretty cool of Miranda to take time and help shine the spotlight on her firends who are also talented. Most in her position are all about themselves.Pistol Annies are great and can't wait to get their album. Finally country that sounds like country!! And since Miranda is already a headliner, she can easily have the other Pistol Annies come out on tour w/ her. Love it!!

What I want to know is, how in the hell is she going to tour and promote BOTH projects? That is so stupid, having a group you're in, then you are an artist already..
