Rick buys the Old Man a '57 Chevy on 'Pawn Stars'Rick Harrison is used to picking up old items on 'Pawn Stars' (Mondays, 10PM on History Channel). Usually, they're a lot smaller than the '57 Chevy 150 he bought for the Old Man, his father Richard Harrison, who's part owner of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas where the show takes place.

Rick did a good job of setting up the surprise. As they walked through the shop where the car was being held, Richard said, "Rick, there's some nice cars here. You could have got me one for my birthday," and called him a "cheap ass" for only springing for biscuits and gravy. But when they rounded a corner, they were met by a couple dozen people, bunches of balloons, and the classic car, beautifully restored.

The car was a husk when they originally bought it, and Rick had a mechanic working to rebuild and repaint it in an elegant black and white. Rick was part of the team that helped to restore it, as well. "It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," said the Old Man. "You outdid yourself." He won't be eating his birthday biscuits and gravy on the new upholstery.
