It's Wednesday, so you know what that means: another wine-related incident on the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), as Kathie Lee Gifford tossed a bottle of wine at a crew member, bruising his chest. Gifford and Hoda Kotb were drinking while extolling the health benefits of red wine, calling it "exercise in a bottle."

Well, apparently she's been working out too much, because when she threw the bottle to crew member Joe during the commercial break, it hit his chest and left a mark.

"I'm not Frank Gifford, I didn't think I was throwing it very hard," joked Gifford. Kotb pointed out the bottle had been in a padded envelope. "Yeah, who could it hurt?" added Gifford. Joe, apparently. He lifted up his shirt to show a red bruise in the center of his chest.

Gifford then comforted Joe by massaging and kissing his wound. Oddly, Joe said he thought Gifford was tossing him a barf bag. Which makes you wonder what else happened during the commercial break.
