Oprah WinfreyOprah Winfrey has been named the new CEO and CCO of OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. Makes sense, right?

Erik Logan and Sheri Salata, presidents of Harpo Studios, will now become presidents of OWN. Winfrey's new title change takes place this fall while Logan and Salata's is effective immediately.

"I am ready to dedicate my full creative energy and focus as the full time CEO of OWN. By aligning the mission, talent and leadership of Erik, Sheri, the OWN team, the Harpo team, along with expertise of David Zaslav, Peter and all of Discovery behind us, we can unleash the full potential of the network," Winfrey said in a statement.

In a Facebook note to her fans, Winfrey called merging of Harpo and OWN as part of her "going with the flow" mentality.

"So as of today ... Harpo Team and OWN team become ONE," she wrote. "Our intention is to use the cable platform and the internet platform and the mobile platform to create messages that fill you up and bring you to new levels of awareness about yourself, ourselves, and our world; our potential ... "

What's next for Winfrey? Besides 'Rosie,' which starts filming in her old Chicago studio in October, Winfrey is at work on 'Next Chapter' in Los Angeles and prepping a new companion show for Rosie O'Donnell's talk show.

"I'm also taking The Oprah Show library of 4560 shows and redesigning them into the 100 best lessons I've learned about everything that can help you live a better life," Winfrey wrote on Facebook. Those will start airing Oct. 10. Same day as Rosie."
