If Google+ is poised to overthrow Facebook, Seth Green thinks they may need to reconsider one aspect of their current business model. As he told Jimmy Fallon on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), "The best way to overthrow the Facebook giant is to offer something that's invitation-only."He then went into a long impression of a Google+ employee teasing people who want those coveted invitations.
"Why don't you check your email every five minutes," he said. "We'll see if we send you an invitation ... The second that invitation shows up, you better sign up, because if it's six minutes, you're not gonna get it."
There's no word yet on when Google+ will be open to the general public without invitations, but even in these early invite-only days, the site is growing at an astonishing rate, with some reports saying it could be closing in on 10 million users already.
