A Playful Hit Leads to a Real Fight on the Series Premiere of 'Texas Women' (VIDEO)

You hate to stereotype someone who's a "trust fund baby," as Hannah is described on the official 'Texas Women' (Thu., 10PM ET on CMT) web page, but you could see that arrogant sense of self-importance in her when she was dealing with her roommate Anna.In a moment that seemed light and fun enough to us, she and Anna were spatting at a bar, when Anna playfully smacked Hannah on the head with a cocktail menu. And that was it. Suddenly Hannah wasn't having fun anymore. It took Anna a bit to realize Hannah was serious.
We will agree that wagging your finger in someone's face is a bit much, but Hannah saw everything Anna was doing as "disrespectful" and ultimately "degrading." When Anna explained that "life is getting thumped in the forehead," Hannah's reply was, "Then you punch me in the shoulder [and] I'm gonna come right back at your nose."
Clearly this girl has no concept of playful wrestling, though she several times indicated she was ready to hit Anna for real. She even had to walk away from her, apparently, to keep from hitting her. We say Hannah needs to calm down and relax. Life is about cutting loose and having a little fun, not being so uptight that a playful punch leaves you angry and ruins your whole day.
