CMT is dipping their toes into 'The Bachelorette' format with their new eight-part reality series 'Sweet Home Alabama' (Thu., 9PM ET on CMT). In it, Southern Belle Devin Grissom seeks love among 20 bachelors, 10 of them country boys and 10 of them city slickers. And one of the latter guys might be familiar to hardcore 'Jersey Shore' fans.

Grissom was definitely intrigued by Jeff Miranda, but even more surprised when he told her everybody knew him back home in New Jersey. When she asked how, he replied, "I dated Snooki from 'Jersey Shore' and I was on the show."

That response certainly took her back a step. "I am very different from Snooki. So I mean if that's his type then maybe I'm not."

She did have fun learning how to fist pump with him, and didn't seem ready to cut him loose just yet. We thought it was pretty funny when he seemed genuinely surprised that this Southern cowgirl had never been to Jersey. It's not the center of the universe, you know.
