Carrie and Brendan Find Time to Flirt and Even Hook Up on 'Hell's Kitchen' (VIDEO)
Who says you can't find love in Hell? For a while, we thought we might have stumbled onto the wrong reality show, but it was indeed 'Hell's Kitchen' (Tue., 8PM ET on FOX) we were watching. You wouldn't have thought they were in the midst of one of the most intense culinary reality shows on all of television to watch Carrie and Brendan, though. While most of the contestants were cramming and preparing for the dinner service the following night, these two were giggling and flirting like they were on a school field trip. This, after a brutal loss to the men led to the women literally drinking meat for lunch and then cut the meat delivery that night into portions.
No wonder most were so studious for the next challenge; they did not want a repeat of that. Carrie had other things on her mind. Even after they'd decided to part ways for the evening, she changed her mind, calling Brendan over.
"I'm not getting any exercise here," she said.
"Well I'll figure out a way for you to burn calories," Brendan replied as the two went behind closed doors.
The other women weren't at all pleased with Carrie's lack of focus, with Elise turning in the best critique of the night. "What a stank-a-dank skank!" she declared.
Elisa then showed some real leadership potential at the dinner service for the women, who proved that all that studying paid off. While they were serving satisfied customers, the men once again were failing to get anything out of the kitchen.
Finally, Gordon Ramsay threw them all out and replaced them with four girls so that their diners would at least be able to eat. So it was not only another loss for the Blue Team, but a humiliating one at that.
In the end, it was lies that did in one of the men. Under the fire in the kitchen, Brendan had lied to Ramsay about his dish, and the lie cost him the competition. But he may have already come out a winner in his mind, as he gave a shout out to Carrie on his way out and asked her to call him.
'Hell's Kitchen' may not be a dating show, but it worked in this case.
