Michelle ObamaMichelle Obama is racking up quite the list of TV credits lately. The latest? The First Lady will appear on ABC's 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.'

According to People, Obama will appear as part of her and Dr. Jill Biden's Joining Forces initiative that works to aid veterans and their families.

Obama will travel to Fayetteville, N.C., on Thursday to help the 'Extreme Makeover' team expand a community resource center for homeless female veterans.

Look for Obama to help build a greenhouse and children's play area when the episode airs in October.

Besides 'Extreme Makeover' and talk shows, Obama has appeared on 'Iron Chef America' to promote her healthy eating agenda, and recently booked a role on Nickelodeon's scripted series 'iCarly.'

On 'iCarly,' Obama will also be promoting the Joining Forces initiative, with Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and her friends breaking rules and setting up a web chat so Carly can speak with her father, who is serving overseas, on his birthday.

Obama gets wind of the rule-breaking and meets Carly and her friends to have a chat "in the most positive way possible." The episode will likely air in January.

Michelle Obama is nothing more than an opportunist. She is soaking the perks of hubbie's presidency for all it's worth, when she could be leading by example. What is she teaching her kids? That it doesn't matter that this country that she is finally so "proud of" is now in a severe recession (thanks to her "husband") and that our gov't needs to stop spending, but it's okay cuz she's the first lady and she's got another trip to go on with family and 40 of her closest "friends"?
I am sure that she is really "proud" of how she gets to stick it to "whitey" the way she's always wanted to.

Good for out First Lady for giving her support to the homeless women veterans! I have been seeing and reading about the staggering amount of veterans(both women and men) that are homeless. I think it's shameful that our men and women are making it possible for us to enjoy our freedom and then come back to not enough jobs, not enough mental health help, and no inexpensive housing. Our government should be doing a lot more for our military!
