She's Back: Shannen Doherty Returns to TV with Wedding Reality Show

Shannen DohertyThe bad girl of 'Beverly Hills, 90210' is making her TV comeback. Yep, Shannen Doherty will star in a new WEtv reality series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the show will follow Doherty and fiance Kurt Iswarienko as they plan their wedding. As if that wedding planning wasn't stressful enough, the show will follow Doherty as she renovates her home. Expect some mayhem.

"People will see a side of Shannen they never expected to see," John Miller, senior vice present of production and development at WEtv, said. Miller said Doherty was "unfiltered, honest and vulnerable" in a pitch tape.

Following a guest stint on The CW's '90210' and some TV movies, Doherty competed in Season 10 of 'Dancing With the Stars.' She was the first celebrity to get the boot.

While she may be known for her '90210' and 'Charmed' roles, Doherty also has quite a reputation around Hollywood. She left 'Beverly Hills, 90210' after four season amidst reports of backstage drama and her time on 'Charmed' ended after three years.

B-list celebrities inviting camera crews to follow them as they get married is turning into a reality TV trend this season. 'Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash' aired on TLC in June and Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's 'Nick and Vanessa's Dream Wedding' will also air on TLC on July 30.

why don't these people try getting a real job 9-5 instead of trying to make fast money that they don't even deserve..

Shannon is one of the most genuine actors in Hollywood. If you are star struck, then you will never know the real actors. She comes to the set, ready to deliver her lines and usually gets a print in one take, with a second as backup. A great director too! I worked with her for three years on Charmed, and it was my pleasure to know her. She is beautiful, kind and very supportive of the crew. Wish only the best for her and all her family. Kate

The farthest from my mind is an actor named Doherty.

Do you think she'll even ever make the list of the top 1,000 actors of all time?

I'd bet the ranch those who decide would say Shannen "with an e' Doherty " who, wha' !
