Two Contestants Walk Away With $80,000 on 'It's Worth What?' Premiere (VIDEO)

While it wasn't a million-dollar pay day, two women walked away with a pretty cool cash settlement in the inaugural installment of 'It's Worth What?' (Tue., 8PM ET on NBC). When their earnings reached $80,000, Melissa and Annabel struggled to feel a strong urge to keep playing.Even host Cedric the Entertainer's reminder that they could double that to $160,000 wasn't really swaying them. After all, if they were wrong on their next guess, their earnings would drop back to $10,000.
The format of the show has contestants trying to determine the values of various collectible and antique items. They have to then be able to compare two items and figure out which one is worth more money.
It may be a reflection of the tough economic times, but Melissa wasn't even willing to consider a risk. Perhaps if the jump was more substantial, the temptation would have been there, but $80,000 is a rock solid earnings for one game show appearance by anybody's standards, and she and Annabel were more than happy to walk away splitting that.
