Top 5 TVR Clips of the Week: Murdoch Pied, Gosling Lifts Roker, Paris Walks Out & More (VIDEO)

We're fairly certain this week's Top 5 TV Replay features the full gamut of human emotions: shame, unlikely heroism, redemption, anger and awkwardness.

Indeed, it was a heady week. Between the Murdoch scandal, Comic-Con and the hottest temperatures New York has ever seen, the week on TV was oddly cathartic.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the best TV clips the week had to offer. And don't forget to vote for your personal favorite in our weekly poll.

What could you possibly add to the News Corp. hacking scandal, already one of the most captivating stories since Watergate? How bout the 80-year-old media mogul at the center of it getting pied in the face by a prankster, who was then punched in the face by his wife? Yes, that happened to Rupert Murdoch as he testified before a Parliamentary committee this week, with the whole world watching.

Moving from a billionaire to a billionaire's daughter, Paris Hilton sat down for an interview with 'Good Morning America' this week -- but not for long. She got up and walked out when correspondent Dan Harris asked her if her star had faded. Well, this clip is certainly one way to get back in the spotlight, Paris. Well played.

Finally we get to a happy story, as Roseanne Barr found some measure of redemption when she sang an actually decent rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at a girls' softball game in Hawaii. In contrast to when she sang the anthem in 1990 at a Major League game, she kept the spitting and crotch-grabbing to a minimum, and stayed shockingly on-key.

Now that you've had your moment of redemption, how about a frightening moment of rage? This one happened on 'Deadliest Catch,' where the stress of big-money crabbing in the unforgiving sea is usually what pushes people over the edge. But not this week. No, what got Captain Keith angry was the stress of filming a reality show, as he flipped out on a cameraman and pushed him into a wall. Turns out reality TV ain't easy.

Finally, an image that will be seared into our collective consciousness, possibly forever: Al Roker making three attempts to do "The Lift," a move from 'Dirty Dancing,' with Ryan Gosling. After two cringe-inducing attempts, the third time was the charm as Gosling lifted Roker triumphantly over his head. He held Roker up for the world to see, like Baby Simba from 'The Lion King' ... if he were the most famous weatherman in America.

What was your favorite TVR clip of the week?

Paris Hilton walks out on interview1 (5.9%)
Roseanne sings the National Anthem1 (5.9%)
