The Hoff Invades the 'Big Brother' House, Eviction Nominations Are In (VIDEO)

David Hasselhoff, 'Big Brother 13'It was the start of a good week for the contestants in the 'Big Brother' (Sun., 8PM ET on NBC) house. With the announcement of a luxury competition, there would be no "haves" and "have-nots" for the week, which means decent sleeping accommodations and food for everyone.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

In a shocking twist of logic that blew our minds away, Jordan put together the clues of a pair of opera binoculars and bars of soap to come up with David Hasselhoff as the mystery celebrity. Even with more clues, no one else was close, so she was treated to a sneak preview of 'Same Name' with three friends, hosted by The Hoff himself.

After spending a little bit of time with the houseguests, Hasselhoff said, "If I was in the Big Brother game, I would definitely align with Jeff and Jordan."

Rachel, who is in an alliance with them, was downstairs crying and fighting (shock!) with Brendon because she wasn't picked for the luxury reward. After all, by her logic you have to suck up to the reigning HoH and take them on anything.

We can't say we understand Jordan choosing Kalia and Shelly to join her, but we have a feeling it had absolutely zero gameplay strategy to it. She just picked two people she wanted to share it with, or maybe even picked randomly. But Brendon and Rachel now think Jordan's trying to play the game with the women.

Suddenly, just as Jordan was considering nominating Rachel and Brendon last week, here we were with the roles reversed. The only eligible couples were Lawon & Kalia, Adam & Dominic, and Jeff & Jordan.

What was interesting is that while she stuck by her alliance right now, putting Adam and Dominic on the block, it may be that she's just delaying the more devious part of her plan, to minimize house drama probably.

She talked about trying to win the Power of Veto and maybe sparing her own first choice, which could mean turning on her alliance at the last minute, and not giving Jeff and Jordan even the chance to save themselves with the Power of Veto. It's a shrewd move that would require her or Brendon to win Power of Veto, but they're both strong competitors so it's certainly possible.

Personally, we're rather over Rachel's whining this season, and can't help but wonder if the slipping ratings are directly related to her dominance and arrogance in the house thus far. It would be interesting to see if there would be a ratings rebound if she gets eliminated soon-ish.

Sorry CBS, but your heavy handed attempt to get me to watch your latest flop failed. You couldn't pay me to watch same name.
