Andy Cohen Finally Tells 'Real Housewives of NYC' to 'Shut the F*** Up! (VIDEO)

I don't understand the shock at Cohen's ranting. His behavior is indicative of a man who likely harbors deep resentment towards women or just doesn't care how we are shown on television. In my opinion the proof is his having developed this idiotic show in the first place. Aside from putting talented writers out of work, reality television is America at its worst. This 'housewives' franchise depicts women at their worst. A bunch of cackling, brainless, vain & greedy women, many of whom appear to be suffering with bipolar disorders, and have no idea about the concept of sisterhood or banding together so that we all become better. Clearly, they've negated and devalued the fight for equality that many of us waged decades ago and continue to this day. Sharp, intelligent, caring women that work, raise families and make valuable and meaningful contributions to society and are never faced with tough decisions such as to whether or not to spend $16,000 on a handbag as people are losing their homes! We don't bare our cellulite-laden, pantiless asses in public or yank one another's wigs off in public boxing matches or live our lives before a camera. While I do not believe that all these women are vapid, I cannot understand why the very few that seem to be decent would participate in this circus, but that is their choice. Some may ask why I don't change the channel? I do but it seems every channel I change to has sold advertising time to this collection of nuts thereby forcing me to see them. They've taken over the decent programming on Bravo so let them have the entire network and leave the others alone! To the decent women who understand the meaning of sisterhood and true friendship, hopefully this too shall pass and quickly.

IDEA...Don't dump the franchise - just get a new cast EVERY season. This way, it doesn't create a "Reality Star System" and keeps things fresh. ALSO, please inaugurate a ZERO TOLERANCE COMMERCE policy! Your audience isn't tuning in to be hawked ghost-written books by these silly people, or to buy their cheesy trinkets, or to taste their drinks, or hear their (ahem) singing voices.

Good for Andy AND NPH. They were and are both right. I must admit to the guilty pleasure of loving the RH franchise and AC has become a real talent, stepping out from behind-the-camera production responsibilities exclusively.

Reality shows suck in general. The Real Housewives shows are the most awful of them all. These women have issues that they need to seriously seek help for. Its sad that people waste time to sit around and watch these women be so stupid when there are better things to do. Put a show on about helping people, no one watches. Put on a show about children doing what is right or something that would help them learn, no one watches. This is why I don't own a television.

I think Andys comments were and are so publicity driven and just plain stupid....really foolish...Those women were provoked all day prior to and during the actually taping..just redic !!!!!! This whole thing is so stupid....AND I am a real fan of the housewives...BUT Andy cohen is over the top !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more people watch these "reality" shows, the more they make. I saw a commercial recently for Roseanne's new show. I guess it was only a matter of time. I'm grateful for Netflix's instant stream, and other sites that have anime series because I don't have to watch all this garbage since there are more reality shows than anything else on tv these days. It's getting to a point where Cable isn't worth the money each month.

He's a fool to be on such a show which I think ought to be canceled. I should be amazed, but am not, that grown women woudl expose themselves for long to others like them, but worse to do it in the full view of whomever would see the program. Dignity is not theirs. I caught the section before this difficulty and stopped, frozen at the outright absence of any sense of decorum or dignity. And moved on, convinced this was more proof of the decay of programming and the measure of the type of audience they seem to think is out there. Even that short take caused me to want to say the same thing to them.

Those women were like a cracys each of them. Ramona seem to have some kind of mental problem, as she is so horrid to everyone. She has to have the last word to anything like some kind of Queen Bee . Who does she think she is, a Cleopatra or something. I see Ramonas behaviour is the cause of so much drama between them each time. Perhaps she should take a time off from the show and go to a head doctor to get her head put on right.
As a matter of fact some of them could really use some trainin to act like a ladys, not some high school drama queens.

The women had no class for their actions, and he had no class for his language. Take the show off the air !!
