Kelly Rowland Guest Stars as a DJ Impressed With Reed on 'Single Ladies' (VIDEO)

April's efforts on Reed's behalf paid off for him in perhaps unexpected ways. Certainly more than April intended, as Kelly Rowland made a guest appearance on 'Single Ladies' (Mon., 9PM ET on VH1) as a local DJ.

April did a great job of getting Reed's CD into her hands, but when Reed himself showed up, Rowland's character, Denise, was more interested in getting him into her hands.

Poor April tried to hang on to the moment as long as she could, lingering through the heavy flirting, and Denise deciding that Reed's CD needed to be heard on a better sound system. The kind of sound system her Mercedes had.

It wasn't until they were leaving, when Denise turned and advised April that it was a two-seater, that April realized this was as far as she was going to go. The good news, though, is that the song was on the radio later, so the pitch worked, though we don't know if it was April's hard work on Reed's behalf, or his work on his own that sealed the deal.
